Thread: MWF reformulated, end of an era

Not much to add here. Mitchell's Wool Fat has been reformulated to a Palm oil base. Tallow is no more. Connought Shaving has fully switched over to the new stock of soap, as of a week ago.

I hope the scent is still the same. MWF is a bit hit and miss, some people find it easy to use, others like myself can find it a bit finicky.

You will find that a bit of a bright spot, then. The new formula lathers easily. The scent is still the same, though some people have noted that the "spicy" under layer to the scent is gone.
