Still 20 days to go until I can use take it for a real spin (that is, on my face), but I could not resist making a "test lather" today.

On the minus side, it's more a cream than a soap for now, but dang, the lather is good


I'm very happy with the result on my first try.
I used a recipe that's been approved by a good few French shavers. It's far easier than expected.
