R.P. Williams Shave Cream
Anyone ever try R.P. Williams Shave Cream before? They have it at a local beauty supply, 500ml for $7.95, comes in a glass jar, and is made in Canada.

Thanked: 2I have tried a lot of soaps, creams and a few gels.
The following are my three favourites in the order listed. They all make rich, long lasting lather.
R.P. Williams Shaving Cream is very inexpensive and goes a long way.
This is my favourite shave cream.
It is unscented. If you want scent a drop or so of your favourite aftershave or cologne will customize it for you.
It lathers quickly giving a rich, thick foam or anything you wish in between. You control its moisture content.
I apply a little dab to my brush with a popsicle stick.
Proraso Green Shaving Soap. I just like it. There is intangible but good something about it.
Nivea Shaving Cream (comes only in a tube). Might be upgraded if it came in a jar or tub.
Some disappointments. All are rather more difficult to build a lather and the lather dissipates too rapidly.
Wilkinson Shave Soap. It does not live up to the quality Wilkinson name.
Col. Conk Shave Soap. Several varieties.
Williams Mug Shave Soap. Not the same Williams as R.P.
All the Gels I have tried.
I use a Rolls Razor.

Thanked: 2I only know the name of a seller and his location.
Rainbow Electric and Beauty Supplies
They are in Toronto in a small store on the west side of Dufferin Street across from Yorkdale Mall.
I shall try to get more information tomorrow.
I will post it here if I do.

P.S
While I am here I have found an excellent cream that ranks right up with the best of them. It is
MEM Olive "the perfect shaving cream for delicate skin" It comes in a tube.
My skin is not delicate but MEM is still perfect. I just can not find anyone who sells it.
And then there are the splendid croaps made by First Canadian Shave Company, Barrie, Ontario, [email protected]
