Default Picked up some T&H 1805

wow. the scent is amazing. this is the second "scent" in my arsenal. i've got AOS unscented and sandalwood. The AOS cream has been great. At a glance, the T&H looks similar. i got the shaving cream and after shave balm. i can't wait to put them to use. i can't stop sniffing them.

i wanted to grab the trafalgar as well but i really need to slow down on my spending habits for shaving stuff. i've been into it less than a month and i've racked up about $1k in expenditures. the S.O. is not pleased.

I hate to be the bearer of potientially bad news, but I saw a thread on shavemyface.com about the T&H 1805 soap, and the concusion was that it was a bath soap, not a shaving soap.

I could be wrong about that one, though. As far as I know, the only shaving soap T&H makes is their Luxury soap. I have a puck, and it smells great and lathers well. It's my second favorite soap, right behind the Harris soap I'm working my way through right now.

BTW--$1K in a month is pitiful. You're clearly not trying.

I used the cream and it was amazing. I'll pick up some more as my shaving soap supplies dwindle and only Leatherneck and Cavendish black are left to hold the fort. That means that I better hurry up and use up the Desert Ironwood, Orange Patchouli, Alpino, Clorofila, Bay Rum + Orange and Williams Menthol

The 1805 cream is one of my favorites. The Trafalger rocks too!

My bad. I saw the 1805, which was the same number this other guy used, and assumed it was a soap. Doh!

Yep, I tried some of the 1805 cream and loved it.

So much so that I bought the EDC. Slightly disappointing -- it fades on my skin extremely quickly (2 hours) and is a very delicate scent. It's a fantastic scent, but it just ain't powerful enough. A shame.

1805 and Trafalgar are both fantastic. To clarify a point about the soap issue. 1805 for shaving is available only as a shaving cream.
