If you want Rose EO, there is a group buy being organized in another forum. No reason to repeat it. I'd really love to have rose blend, such as infamous Wild Rose but since I'll most likely be getting Rose EO mentioned above and have Trumper rose, my vote is for the Jasmine.

there is need to repeat it because Charles would prefer a higher number of Rose EO orders to make the economics more attractive.

By the way, I heard Mr. Burr talk about scents on the radio and it really turned me off - he was praising the chemical agents and knocking down EOs and organic elements. Actually - it more than turned me off, it irritated me. Sure - I understand his idea that artificially synthesized chemicals open possibilities for various combinaitons, etc. and that organics limit you but I personally don't agree with his ode to chemicals. I wonder if he's sponsored by some scent powerhouses...

    Cheers

EO, FO, Mr. Burr, Charles, a poll, a little of this, a dash of that, a vasi... here, a ...late there, my money is on the B&B buy. Considering the number of posts before the crash plus what we have post crash, I'd say that with recession, inflation, indecision, and a dollar descending to a worth of mere pennies, the likelihood of getting any movement here ranks right along with the Pack winning the Super Bowl.

    Sad but true.

I think I will also involved in the B&B buy for the Rose EO, but I would still really like to see the Jasmine happen here as well.

    Mr. Administrator,

I was making reference to the length of time and and the various twists and turns the suggested group soap buy has taken. Considering the difficulty in arriving at consensus, perhaps it would be best to table this for another time when it can be more quickly done, thus maintaining an active interest among the group members/buyers.

During the first part of the discussion pre-crash, I was quite interested in participating, but have to admit that with all the apparent false starts along the way, my esprit-de-soap has really flagged, so much so that I may just stick with my newly found super cream, Speick, rather than wait for an event that may or may not happen.

So, I'll stop with the indecypherable tilts at the group-buy windmill and wish you all well here.

Good soap shopping all, and good day,

All group buys take time, especially if there are various options to be discussed. And what's the rush anyway?

I seriously doubt that anyone of us is going to run out of shaving soap in the near future...

You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

Group Buys are easier said then done it is not like picking up the phone and its done. There is getting something the group wants and also dealing with the vendor and there demands. Lynn and myself have put work in to this. This is not are jobs, The Admins and MODs do not get paid, we do this out of the passion for this hobby and this site and to bring something good for the members. We still have jobs and familys. As well as some other very intersting projects coming for the site. So I apologize for the wait but it is what it is and I also got more bad news today on this which I will post next.

Charles as just respond to me and Lynn about the Jasmine. I emailed him telling him the Jasmine was probably going to win but the poll had a few more Days. He responded back and said he made a mistake the Jasmine would be more like $75 not $50. He did apologize for his mistake but again a monkey wrench out of or control. I personally think as much as I really want a Pure Jasmine soap that that is to high. But let see some of your thoughts and if it is gone I will will unlock the poll so Jasmine people can re vote and we can get this done. He also mentioned some concern with Tobacco and the skin. I have used and still use a tobacco product and love it but he is concerned. The other one he mention to do was Tea Tree as something special.
    Look forward to the feedback
    Don
