Rose Soap/Cream!!!
Hey guys,
So, before the Crash of 08' I posted about rose scented soaps. I have since been sent a sample of QED Rose soap that was out of this world. Because QED rarely does Rose soaps (without other EOs) though, I am finding myself seeking elsewhere for a cream. I ordered a tub of Taylor of Old Bond Street Cream-Rose and was wondering how this compares to other Rose scented creams/soaps. Just how rosey does it smell? Though it has already been ordered, I am curious as to its scent strength. Thanks
Kyle

Haven't tried any rose soaps, but I have tried TOBS and SCS Savory Rose. TOBS scent is subtle, while the SCS' is stronger. Between the two, I also find the SCS cream to be slicker, and more moisturizing. IIRC, Sue uses avocado oil in her creams.

Geo f. Trumper's rose soap is top notch stuff and the Truefitt & Hill rose shave cream is also really good.

I really like the TOBS Rose cream. It has a pleasant but not overwhelmingly scent. It is a mainstay in my cream rotation.

Although as far as I know Trumper changed soap formulation from tallow to palm. I've only tried tallow and it's superb.
T&H is very nice clean scent (although my wife prefers coates) but I have allergic reaction to it - nothing too major but I do have a slight burning sensation. I don't use it to often so it's ok.

Thanked: 44Papasmurf just gave me one from Coates that is top notch. I will be using that with my trumpers skinfood. Get over the sissy programing and get yourself some rose stuff. It is very nice so enjoy it.

I have the Trumper Rose cream. Its ok, but I reach for many others first.
The Trumper Rose soap is very nice! I don't know if I have the new or old formulation (I bought it at Cambridge Chemists about a year and a half ago), but whatever it is, its a keeper.
The QED Wild rose is outstanding. If you can get some, do it.
