The one thats just knocked me out for smoothness ,lubrication& light scent is The Vulfix old original Persian musk.
I got mine from the gentelemans shop in Hungerford, which just happens to be a short drive from where I live.its become the cream that I use the most,it just seems to give great results no matter which razor I use.

If I had to pick just one to use, I probably would go with Mugso Real. A close second would be TOBS Avocado.

I really only use creams when travelling, but then I use C&E Nomad almost exclusively....although I really don't know all that much about creams because I find soaps easier and more forgiving.

I too second thegentlemensquarter
You can check out Colleen's shaving creams at:
http://www.thegentlemensquarter.com/ or you can PM her at churley, she is a member here.
She makes some outstanding shave creams and all I have tried smell and feel wonderful. They are super easy to lather up and come in nice variety of scents. Her floral scents are great but if you are not into florals, check out her Cavendish Black, Desert Ironwood, or my personal favorite, Bay Rum Sweet Orange. You can't go wrong with any of them though. Enjoy.

+1 on the C&E Sweet Almond!! Also love the scent of Trumper Violet. I have a tub of Kiehl's...nice lather but the scent is a bit medicinal.
