I have this, and it is one of my favorite soaps! LOVE the scent, and it lathers very well. Especially when combined with a cream (like AoS' cream).

I use Soap and Cream mixed. For me it seems to give me the slickness and the cushion, been using it that way since I started shaving with Straights.

    Default I sold out!!

I never thought I'd say this but The Art of Shaving's cream is awesome. My GF bought a tub for me and it's a guaranteed great shave. I would have never bought it on my own, because I thought they were "yuppified", but now I stop over to their store on Madison/47th to get more. The pre-shave oil works well too.

Good to be back at SRP.

Agreed! After trying their samples of oil/cream/balm, I am sure I will be ordering online VERY soon.

Just a side note, AoS' cream goes well with Colleen's soap!

I started out using their cream, so I am spoiled when it comes to lather...
try using that along with some of Mama Bears soap for a super lather...
I find that sandalwood and jasmine go well together scent wise, and the lather can't be beat.
