Thanked: 84I've got a soap maker local to me !!
Hello everyone, I was having a nose around ebay today looking for razors, shave soaps and odd's and sod's and came across a Bay Rum scented shaving soap made by a lady in my own fair city. According to her website, she also has a stall in our local market. I NEVER KNEW!
have a look

I'm nothing to do with the outfit BTW
I will buy some and report back.

Thanked: 84Funny you should say that, Kim (owner) said "If you have ideas for a product, tell me, I can make it" or words to that effect.
Here is her proper site www.scentfromheavenonline.co.uk or .com
I'm going to her market stall Sunday afternoon. I'll save some stuble for her Bay Rum soap.

Thanked: 84Got some. Bay Rum, mint and tea tree and another one (upstairs) I'll tell you another time.
Lathered really quickley, not a really thick lather but a nice covering. May have got thicker, but I was happy after a brief whisking. Bay Rum smelled really nice, I have never smelled bay rum before so can't compare, Kim said a friend of hers thinks it was a good rendition of a bay rum.
This soap didn't dry my skin out at all !!! Nearly every other soap can make my skin stiffen and sting a little if I don't wash it off really thoroughly. I had a really good shave with the soap, it lubed well too.
The Mint and tea tree also smelled great and performed the same, well, maybe a bit cooler feeling.
I will be getting more.
Oh! Kim sold me 3 x 100 gramm bars for £5 ($10 ish)
She sometimes put's them in Col Conk type tubs.

Kim want's some ideas for flavours too !
