Default Tom's, I Hope it Tastes Good

Tom's of Maine has all natural shaving cream. The package says it wasn't tested on animals. How do they know if someone can shave with it? Maybe they tested the stuff by using it to shave a cantalope. I would think it would have been easier to just go ahead and try it out on a few faces. But hey, no animal testing is no animal testing. Well, I hope it tastes good because it comes in a tube that is remarkably similar to my Tom's of Maine toothpaste:

It's only a matter of time before I F up and brush my teeth with it.

If it contains typical ingredients in typical quantities they don't have to test. its only when they try new things or start playing with EOs and stuff like that where you run into problems. besides if you put it on and you face catches fire you will have been the low paid guinea pig.

I heard that for 2400 units they will test it on old, dead beasts

I hate it when the packaging can be mistaken for other products nothing like climbing out of bed and getting a mouth full of lather!!!

I bought the Peppermint like you have there and the Calendula. I've tried both once and since then they've sat in my medicine cabinet. I like the smell of the Calendula but neither were very good creams IMO. No long lasting lather, little cushion, not very slick, etc.

All that said, I can say that I will end up using both of them up. I've decided that rather than rotate between my soaps and creams endlessly, I'm going to use one product I already have completely before going on to the next, even if it's not my favorite. That way they get used rather than wasted. To that end, I've been shaving daily from the same tub of TOBS "Shaving Shop" cream literally for months now. I still can't see the bottom of the tub! Not a cream I'll buy again, but I think it's decent.
