uberlather with ogallala bay rum?
Haven't' done the uberlather thing in awhile now. Just got to thinking about how well OBR lathers by itself, how would it do with Glycerin and a cream added? Has anyone tried this? May have to try it out this evening lol. If I do I'll report my findings, but am also curious about your results as well.

Thanked: 40Every shave I do!
To tell you the truth I haven't uberlathered with Colleen's yet, just because after Glen did the demo at the SE Gathering I opened my soap from them. I might try it tonight and see if there is a difference.
Love the bay rum/sandlewood from them. HIGHLY recommend them.

Mine went well, wasn't quite the result I'd hoped for, first time usually isn't however. Will try again the next shave. I mixed Ogallala Bay Rum with glycerin and Kiss My Face Mint cream......called it Bay Rum with a twist. Smelled fairly good, more of mint, so I may have had my
calculations off.

Thanked: 13246The very first Uberlather I ever made was with the old formula OBR, it had great slickness, but light lather, so I was screwing around trying to get better lather from it.... John's new formula soap is a quantum laep forward in the lather dept. I use a snudle (about an almond sized amount) of the "Body Shop Shave Cream" with the OBR and 5 drops of glycerin and bam Ubersmooth.... The KMF should give good results too...

I was quite pleased with the lather from the new OBR, but I can never let well enough alone.
I think I got two or three snudles last night. Will try with a lesser amount. How much water do you use? Seemed like mine dried out rather quickly, and I wound up having to add water to it...of course, that was probably due to too much KMF.
