    Default Is William's Milled?

    Hi Gents,
I know this is going to sound really dumb, but I was double boiling my shave soaps to fit into some new containers, and all was going swimmingly with Colleen's soaps...and then, as an afterthought, I put in my William's Mug soap just to round out the collection...and the darn thing wouldn't melt!

Could it be that the $2 no-nothing William's Mug soap is milled?

    Tell me I'm hallucinating!

Williams is a hard milled soap and will not melt in Mark...
Now if ya want to make your puck of Williams really perform??? Then grate it with a cheese grater and press the curling's in that bowl with your fingers and some wax paper and a few drops of water....
Any hard milled soap can be grated and then pressed in, they will end up looking just like a glycerin soap in those sugar bowls....
Some of them really benefit in the ease of lathering from doing this, Williams and Mitchell's Wool Fat are two that I can think of for sure....
