    Default Evelyn and Crabtree

Has anyone had experience with Evelyn and Crabtree shaving products?

I went into to one over here and lo and behold they had a decent selection of creams, soaps etc. They also had pure badger brushes which is totally amazing as there is zero supplies for shaving over here!

I use thier nomad shaving cream which I buy cheaply off e bay and it's fine at that price. The brushes are OK, nothing great.

Where in the world are you? If you have nothing locally in terms of shaving supplies then e bay throws up some great bargains.

I use the EJ Best Badger brush. It's a great universal brush for both soaps and creams. Their shaving soaps are crap. The lather dries out but it still looks like normal lather so you can give yourself a razor burn you won't know about until it's too late. The creams are pretty good though.

    Eh, Ilija

I liked the Nomad soap - both the scent and the lather. Not great great lather, but I was coming off the Burt's Bees ss crap - so this was many levels up. Recently gave the Nomad soap to my father-in-law with an Omega I had and he's loving it. You could mix it wetter too...

Can't remember using a C&E cream... Anyway - you could definitely do worse than these products

    Cheers

I have their Sandalwood cream and the discontinued Sweet Almond Oil cream.... Both are great performers, the matching Sweet Almond Oil soap by itself is as Firestart said, "pretty dry", but mixed together with the cream, in an Uberlather it rocks....

I have the Nomad cream and I am saving a little of the sweet almond oil cream. Both are really great with terrific lather.
