Lavanda Shaving Cream .... good stuff
I recieved my order of Lavanda Shaving Cream today from Leon at the The Vintage Scent. Just in time to shave today too !
So I warm my bowl and soak my brush. I leave about a tablespoon of water in the bowl and shake out my brush. Adding maybe a teaspoon of Lavanda cream and then whip it up. It has a STRONG scent at first and then calms way down as the lather builds. And oh how the lather builds up. Not too much and not to thick. Now I did adjust the amount of water added as i always do. If it seems to thick i simply put the tips of the bristles of my brush under the running hot water and start whipping again. This allows me to add the right amount of water to get the type of lather I want.
The Lavanda was EASY to do this with. It was very thick to start and by adding just a little more water, as stated before, a couple of times got a beautiful lather that was slick and not to thick but not to thin where it would disipate on my face. It held nice and was not foaming or overly wet. It really gave a great surface for the blade to cut through.
The scent was of Lavendar and was NOT strong once on or after shaving. It started off strong and i was a little taken back at first. But again once I started whipping it up the scent leveled off to be really refreshing.
Great stuff and overall I really like it !
Just thought I would share this since i dident see any reviews of it.

I got some from Leon as well, a great citrus-y, lavender-ish scent, with a nice menthol kick. And it's a good cream too.
Leon's service is top notch, his shipping is fast, and his packaging is secure. Nothing but praise from me here.
Once I use up this tube, I will order some more for sure.
