Whats a good soap for summer
I will be deploying to Afghanistan duing their superhot summer months. I was wondering what would be a good soap or shave cream to use while I am there. I understand that some are better than others during summer months. Their summers are HOT so I figured I should shave accordingly. Being in the military I have to shave daily so its not an option to skip a day etc. Thanks for the input!

I like anything with menthol for the summer cooling effect. Prorasso, clubman, etc.

In addition to what others have said before, you may want to try soaps that would not be as rich. If a soap has a lot of conditioners, it may clog pores in summer months. Be careful over there.

+1 - Thank you for your service and be extra careful over there! The soaps mentioned will work well. Not knowing the condition of the water you may want to take a soap that lathers very easily like the Poraso. Don't forget to bring a barber's hone to keep you edge maintained, or better yet, a small coticule just in case you need a bit more maintenance. A second blade or more would be good also. If budget is a concern pick up a few Double Arrows.
GOOD LUCK AND THANKS AGAIN!!!!!“If you always do what you always did, you will always get what you always got.” (A. Einstein)

Thanked: 84I hope you have a safe campaign.
If you bump into an Afghan barber ask them what they use and let us know.
I would go for a lemon or/and Lime cream or Persian Musk for the evenings.
Be lucky M
