lol I have a bottle of Astroglide here and i can tell you it gets sticky and gummy when it starts to dry out PLUS its kind of stringy (think egg whites).. i would not try using this stuff to shave.

that would be dangerous i would make sure i was holding on tight to the razor and make sure i was wearing pants

Its not exactly cheaper either. i guess it would save you lather time though. but cleanup would be a diff story as well as explaining to your wife why you have a gallon jug of lube.
