Thread: good lather, bad lather

I gather that you mean that it is too thin. I have the same soap and it lathers well but my water is fairly soft. If your water is hard, forming lather becomes harder. One suggestion would be to use a few drops of glycerin when you make your lather. I have noticed a better performance using glycerin. Also, remove excess water before you load your brush with soap and then build the lather adding little water first and then more if if it is too thick. You can always add more water but you cannot take it away without using more soap.

4-5 drops glycerin

Now add a little shave cream to that mix, and you will learn why we call that Überlather

But watch out it is addictive
