There will be time for sampling in the future, and believe me, when the time comes, I will remember your offer. Right now, I am interested in improving the formula. There are a couple of minor issues that need to be worked out. For instance, I am not happy with leaving half of the soap unused at the bottom of the bowl every time I shave and this could be easily corrected. I am going to send some samples to experienced first so that they can tell me how my soap compares to others in the market. I have already contacted/been contacted a/by a few people to test my soap but if other experienced people would like to try the Bomb please send me a PM. There is also the issue of batch size. At this time, I cannot supply soap for the entire SRP community, that is another thing that would have to be worked out. In any case, I am not sure that I will want embark in a commercial venture at this time anyway, there is a lot of responsibility that comes with manufacturing skin products. Perhaps my reward would be to know that I am the only person in the world that can shave with the Bomb ;-). Who knows..., for now I just want to get a formula that I can feel 100% satisfied with. More to come soon.... ;-)

No need to guess, this batch smells like sandalwood. I have used other scents too .

May I ask what your reference is of these "essential oils that are known to prevent skin cancer" ? Due to scientific (pharmaceutical) background, I'm always slightly suspicious when I hear/read things like that.

To stay on topic: that's quite some lather you get from so little soap! Congratz.

Thanks for the comment, I did not know that a scientist was going to call me on that ;-). Well, not every essential oil prevents cancer, I did not mean to imply that; I apologize if I did. One of the components of the essential oils I used to make my soap induces controlled cell death when small amounts are used to treat mice that have certain types of skin cancer. I would be more than happy to talk more about this with you but probably not in this thread, as it would just not be fair for others that are not interested in the science involved. And yes, there are several recent research articles describing the cell biology and the biochemistry involved.

Thanks, I think that it works great, but I could be biased... ;-)
