Default I dont have a problem with MWF lather

Why does everyone say they have trouble making lather with MWF ? This stuff exploded the second I swirled my brush in it. I just got home and was excited to see a Fed Ex box sitting there with my new MWF, I have been dying to try this stuff.

At first I did not have any problems with it. In fact, when I used it for the first time, I got the best shave I had gotten at that point. Over time I think it lost something. Either that or I found better stuff to use and compare it to. It may be due to the fact that I have soaked mine so many times for probably too long that something got rinsed out of it.

Great stuff Mike! I love it.
Your enthusiasm that is, I haven't used the fat stuff in a long while. Should change that one of these days.

I've never had any problem getting a great lather from MWF. My water is not soft here in the chalky Cotswolds. Also I don't soak it beforehand, just soak the brush, shake out and a quick swirl then onto the face.

Mind you, I only face lather so perhaps MWF is for face latherers only!

I'm with you Mike, I've not had an difficulties getting MWF to lather well. From the first time I've used it I have always made great lather.

    Cheers,

    Rick
