All of the above-referenced places are great choices. If you are looking for Harris or MWF soaps, then I suggest Connaught Shaving as the prices are great and the shipping is very reasonable even coming across the Atlantic. I use them to buy those soaps as even with the overseas shipping the price can't be beat.

+ infinity on the TGQ. The best ever. TOBS doesn't even hold a candle to it.

No one has mentioned Ogallala yet. Their Bay Rum Sandlewood is outstanding. Ogallala Bay Rum > Shaving Soap
Don't go to the light. bj

http://www.fendrihan.com/index.php looks to be decent, and offers about 4 or 5 different brands, might be worth checking out.

I have to second shavingessentials.net. It's personal, in that they carry the most dense percentage of soaps that I have grown to like very much through trial and error the past few years - Provence Sante, Institut Karite, Tabac, Speick stick, Mitchell's Woolfat, Ogallala Bay Rum. All from one source, with about the best prices I've seen on each.

They've never backordered me, fast shipping, and every order I get a hand-written thank-you note on beautiful card stock, plus a free sample of something nice.

One of the hassles of having odd personal grooming tastes is the number of different places I have to do little mail orders with to keep myself stocked. When it comes to soaps, being able to buy from one place is nice for a change.

At the risk of shooting myself in the foot, John of shavingessentials.net was my inspiration to get into this crazy business. He's a wonderful fella and runs a good business. He gives great customer service and to be honest, I don't expect I'll ever be able to come close to having as good a reputation as the one he has earned.

By all means.... do yourself a favor and shop at shavingessentials.net.

    Wow...That's class right there.

I'd like to second Connaught shaving--Paul Mayhew's a great guy to shop from, and he has great products--not least of which are his own brand. That Three crowns Aftershave Milk is magic on a "bad face day", as I like to call them.

Yes! that so true, this could be my words....

Today I got this from shavingessential:
    PdP Shaving Soap in tin
    IK Shaving Soap 14.25
    PS Shaving Soap
PdP empty tin (got me some empty tins)
    + loads of samples

I am a dog for the french soaps.

Heads up for shavingessential they do carry lots of god soaps and creams and they are a pleasure to do business with, - but I'm sure you find that most shops have a huge variety of soaps and creams..

    Good luck picking one out
