    Default Irish Moos

    G'Day me laddies!

Just had a first go with Tabac's cousin soap, Irish Moos. It comes in a super beefy shave stick, a full 100 grams of tallowy fresh scented goodness.

I'm not a shave stick kind of guy, so I broke out the cheese grater and ground it down into fresh scented shavings and packed it into a screwtop container, ready for the silvertipped lather wand.

Did I happen to mention the fresh scent? Well, this certainly isn't a subtle, hard to notice issue here....the best description of the scent can be found here:
YouTube - Irish Spring Soap Commercial 1980

Now then, down to business--this stuff has the same ingredients as Tabac, just a different fresh scent, and not surprisingly then, it also happens to lather, protect, cushion, and glide--- pretty much just the same as the well re-known Tabac, but with a much different scent.

Now, I happen to be one who actually loves the rich, aromatic, wood paneled, sweaty disco scent of Tabac, especially since I'm an evening shaver, so I like the rich soothing (to me) scent.

The Moos, I would imagine will make a great wake up scent to start the day. It's bold and bright, it has some *zing* and zest, bright sunlight through green leafy boughs with a cool breeze blowing sort of appeal.

Anyhow. This stuff shaves great, and for those of you who find yourselves thinking about buying yet another puck of Tabac, add some variety to that same great lather and get some Irish Moos instead.
    Or buy both!

I got mine here at Superlather

I am waiting for my shave stick and alt innsbruck to arrive. I can't wait to try this. Thanks for the review.

I just used my TABAC shaving STICK for the first time. Very nice. For some reason the stick format can help me get the right balance of water and soap.

I Wholly concur--Irisch Moos is a fine, fine soap. You can check my review here, though it's not got much to add to what Seraphim said.
