Soap in strange places...
Does anyone else use soaps not meant for shaving to shave?
For instance, I found a soap at Whole foods that was meant as a hand soap but works great for shaving.
Don't hold out on me now, I can't be the only one.

Thanked: 735I tried Yardley's hand soap to shave with.
Non-shave soap can be used to shave with sucessfully, but in no way could it be comparable to the comfort and cushion you will get with a true shave soap. At least that was my finding. After recieving my first cut in I don't know how long using the Yardleys, and getting a bunch of weepers while using the Williams, I swore off (and at) the cheap stuff, as the good stuff can be had for not much more $$ (ala Tabac at ~$10 a puck), but with a whole lot more comfort and enjoyment.
