If you want more lather just load more on the brush. but if you are getting enough to shave and its too your liking of slickness and protection then you dont need any more. and a skuttle will still help keep it hot no matter how much you make. The GP is nice and big to mix lather as well as keep it hot. I have one and like it alot. As for colleens cream IIRC they dont measure up to her soaps but I dont have expreience with those but I can tell you that Joannas at TSD is super dense and really nice cream. I have the unscented and it works just fantasticly.
