    Default Proraso!!!

I picked up a tube of Proraso from the drugstore the other day (I was there anyways, it was cheap, who wouldn't buy some?). The only other shaving cream I've used is TOBS lemon & lime. In my opinion the Proraso completely surpassed the TOBS I've been using all this time. The cream made my face feel much slicker and my skin didn't feel as dry after the razor went over. The cooling sensation was also very nice especially since the weather's getting warmer.

I was just wondering what other peoples' opinions on these two creams were, since I've seen mixed reviews in the past. Is there any different way I should be making lather with the TOBS to give it a more slicker feel? I've experimented with it fairly thouroughly and I haven't been able to get it to a point where it feels as good as the Proraso.

Proraso contains eucalyptus(sp) which gives it a very nice feel. I myself find the Proraso slicker than TOBS but each are great in their own capacity. I do find at times that my TOBS lather does become a bit "airy" at which time I just add a bit more water which tends to help for me.

Really do like the Proraso though, one of the true gems out there for the price.

    Enjoy

I have not used the TOBS lime but I have used an entire tub of the TOBS Shaving Shop and I've used Proraso.

I have very hard water and the TOBS was not compatible with it. It dried out way too fast on my face. When I'd exhale through my nose during shaves, it would snow TOBS.

Proraso on OTOH is excellent with my water and is a joy to use.

Proraso has always been one of my top performers.
I use it with the Pre/Post cream every time, and I
    never regret it.

Proraso is great. You will always be happy with it's performance. Proraso also makes C.O. Bigelow witch is also a great performer. You can get C.O.Bigelow at Bath & Body works.
