    Default Canned Goo comparisons

I am neck deep in writing this presentation for a college to develop a str8 razor curriculum and I have been comparing canned goo to Proraso/Bigelow to TGQ Lavender.

I looking at the Gillette Fusion gel ingredients I found out that they use PTFE, aka Teflon, and they use a lot of alcohol and other drying agents as well as 3 different thickeners. Doesn't PTFE cause cancer if ingested, why would you put it on your face?

Bigelow was as natural as grass. No chemicals just derivations of naturally occurring minerals.

Oh yeah if any one has Colleen's Lavender Cream ingredients can you post them here I need them for the paper.

    Cheers.

Polytetrafluoroethylene - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
it's used for surgical implants as well as body jewelry. chemically, it's totally inert, I could not find any material that suggested it's a carcinogen. it's totally non-reactive (chemically) below 260C. one of the precursors to ptfe is possibly a carcinogen, but there isn't any in the finished product.

Why don't you email Colleen and ask her?

    Cheers.
I suspect you will find that Bigelow is full of chemicals, particularly the sodium salts of various fatty acids.
