    A little update for those having this same problem... Yes, not enough water was part of the problem. However, as Pabster stated, it was time too. I was used to getting a better lather faster with my old soap and didn't take enough time with the tabac. I've been practicing this week and this morning was able to get a great lather. BBS this morning.

    Nice work! I found that this was a difficult creams to coax a lather from (it stands in stark opposition to the soap). Most other creams should be a snap after this one

    You might want to make sure your water isn't to hot also. I just started using Tabac a few weeks ago also, and I was using to hot a temperature of water in my scuttle. It just dries out the lather, as well as the amount of water as you have already discovered.
