I haven't tried their Bay Rum, but I use this currently: Natural Skin Care for Men Shave Cream - Burt's Bees
It kind of stinks and isn't nearly as pleasurable as a creme or a puck of soap (in my opinion), but it does leave your skin hydrated nicely and it really cuts down on irritation if you have bad technique or sensitive skin- or both!
Personally, I can't wait until it runs out so I can either start sampling our fine creme makers here or go back to Proraso

Stuff was useless as a shave soap, I ended up using it as a regular bath bar.

Thanked: 8It works ok as a shave soap. I do not care for the smell at all. I find that the smell of some creams and soaps will grow on you after a while; this one did not.
