Default L'occtaine soap with nomad cream=super thick lather

On a whim I mixed these two brands today. To my surprise, as I started to form the lather it didn't really expand a whole lot and creep up the sides of the bowl. Instead, it stayed pretty low in the bowl because it became very thick very fast with a few swirls of the brush. I don't recall that I did anything irregular with my prep besides the brand mash-up. I think it performs very well. I say think, because I used a bratty razor that I can't seem to dial in with my newbie skills. I'm going to give it another go tomorrow and see if i get the better results with a razor that is running on all cylinders.

Anybody else get these results when they mix up these two products or any other different brands?

yes. many call it "uberlather". KMF creams work well with a lot of soaps. I like using scentless AOS soap with KMF scneted creams. Nomad/CADE is a creative mix, so good idea. Wouldn't have thought of that mix How did it smell? Like a moroccan gin and tonic?

I've ubered with the nomad soap and cream but it hasn't gone very thick like this. I guess the nomads don't really uberlather that well.

The nomad scent is rather strong and overpowered the Cade. I threw in the Cade beacause i havent used it in awhile. I don't use that scent too much in the spring/summertime. It really tends to attract bees and wasps. OUCH!

Certain combo's really go together well, some not as well....
About 5 drops of glycerin to this makes a true Uberlather, and yes it really does make a difference....

If you have MWF soap, and Musgo Real cream w/glycerin that is the "Lanolin Overload" and is still the best shaving uber I have found...

For a true lanolin overload, you have to use bag balm as your afershave balm after shaving with the MWF and Musgo. Great shave and you smell like ass - start the day really feelin' and smell'in like a dude. And incidentally, I don' uberlather much, but he MWF Musgo Combo really is awesome.
