    Default soap base

found some soap base online locally here.
they've got a glycerin soap base, either a white or clear.
i don't think it would make much difference. but wanted to ask.
    which one would be better?
i'm thinking more so on the white.

Oh I know they make them over there. Its not too skin friendly but its ok.
Have a look at the ingredients list. Probably there is a lot of sodium laureth and - lauryl sulfates and EDTA in it.
    Color is secondary.

You can always make another from scratch if you don't like it.

Likely the only difference is addition of Titanium dioxide in the white one. If that is the case, no difference. If you allow me, I could give you a little advice both a scientist and a soapmaker: learn from your previous results, design your experiments so that only one thing changes each time, use small batches for tests, and most important of all, keep very good notes.

    Al raz.

Probably contains a number of other chemicals as well such as sodium laurate and sodium stearate.
