A good uber lather
Most of my creams and soaps have developed a layer of dust from sitting on the shelf. Even though the smell of it makes me gag, I just can't stop using Tabac. It's shaving comfort has yet to be equaled by any of the soaps/creams I have. Mitchell's Woolfat soap comes close, but it dries out very fast in the desert climate here.
Yesterday I decided it was time to blow the dust off of a couple products and make an uber lather, as I had just read Glen's Uber Lather Wiki page for the 100th time.
I decided on Penhaligons Blenheim Bouqet for the cream, and Mitchell's Woolfat for the soap.
This combination exploded in the bowl to the richest, creamiest, slickest lather I'd ever felt. And the smell was out of this world. The scent of Blenheim Bouqet and Mitchell's Wool Fat is just wonderful.
The shave was fantastic. Every bit as comfortable as Tabac, without the gagging smell.
I just wish the Blenheim Bouqet was affordable enough to make this a daily uber lather. Ah well, it's still fun for an occasional treat.

Try La Toja shave cream with Mitchell's Wool Fat. It is awesome! You can find it at The Vintage Scent Co.. It's almost addictive!

i found the La Toja cream to be a good 'stabilizer' or for making uberlather.
