Thread: You can't go wrong with The Shave Den scents

I can't believe how great their stuff smells. I bought 3 cream samples, and 4 shave milk samples awhile back. I bought each cream with the intent of using it in conjunction with a similar scented shave milk. Today I decided that peppermint was the way to go, (I have been on a HUGE Vanilla Bourbon kick since the package arrived). So I started off with the peppermint cream, and when I got done shaving I reached down for the peppermint milk...and had a sudden change of heart. Now I smell like Bananas! YUMMY...even my wife was surprised by the pleasant aroma of bananas on a Saturday morning.

I just ordered a bunch more samples from them...and full size Vanilla Bourbon, since I think that's my favorite.

If you haven't tried this stuff, jump on the computer and order a bunch of samples of random flavors...I was "this close" to ordering the egg nog flavored cream last night...but decided I better wait until the holidays for that one. They have a ton of flavors!

I think I'm hungry now! I've never heard of this place. Sounds like good stuff though.

The Shave Den does make great stuff. i LOVE their AS Milk. The Mayan Gold scent is magic...seriously, try it.

I have samples and full sizes of several Shave Den products. JoAnna makes a quality product at a surprising reasonable price. If you like a scent and don't see it on the list, ask. She made me some minted sage!

Mayan Gold? Sounds like something you would buy in Amsterdam! What's it smell like?

I went with the Sweet Tea shave milk after yesterday's shave. It's nice, very subtle, my wife couldn't smell it after a few minutes. But it felt nice, and the scent was great, but very easy on the senses.

Anyway, JoAnna has made some descriptions of her scents that are better than anything I could say, but it is warm, masculine and mellow sweet.

Totally agree. The shave den AS milk is my favorite after shave product. Her scents are awesome too, and there's so many to choose from.

The bourbon vanilla is one of my favorites as well. The mayan gold is good too. It's hard to describe, but to me it smells like an asian cologne, whatever that smells like

I also really like the absinthe one (added menthol to mine, nice!), oh and the sandalwood is nice although doesn't smell anything like sandalwood, and what about the mojito or the vetiver (VERY earth/woodsy). Ahem, I could go on, but I won't I keep meaning to order a full bottle of one of the AS's, but I just keep ordering 5 samples or so at a time, and I haven't run out of one yet. I love having all of the options to choose from each morning. A little goes a long way. I'd say one of the "samples" has to be good for 30 or 40 applications at least.

Her after shave splashes are pretty good as well!

Do you guys get them mentholated? Does it blow away the scent if you do? I'm considering getting the Bourbon Vanilla and Mayan Gold (based on these recommendations).
