Thread: 444 After Shave Balm

Today I started my Sunday afternoon shave. I was out of my usual soap,
Institut Kerite, however I had a cake of Williams Shaving Soap in an Old Spice mug and decided to use the Williams.

Recently I had ordered a Filarmonica Especial Barbr razor and received a sample of 444 After Shave Balm as a gift.

On impulse I put a small amount of the 444 on my old Simpson brush and latered up. Great lather


I thought I was going to have to put a set of disc brakes on my Doble Temple to slow it down. Great Shave.

444 is basically glycerin and menthol so I'm not surprised it improved the williams shave. I'll have to give it a try some day, but now with one of my Simpsons brushes. It will be with a boar brush.

Try also to mix with your favourite aftershave splash! Great!!!
444 Aftershave Balm its a very concentrated moisturizer, so only a few of this product should do for all the shave area! It is also great to avoid ingrown hairs and other "bad things"!

That's a great idea to use this as a "lather helper". I use it occasionally for an ASB but would never use up the whole tube. Maybe now I can.

I use the 444 as an aftershave balm. First I splash my face with the chosen aftershave and then I squeeze a dolup of 444 on my left palm, smear it on my palm with the index finger on my right hand and pour some of the same aftershave that I'm using on the smeared 444 and rub my palms together and then smear it on my face, heaven!!!

I put a small amount of 444 in the palm of my hand and then add some blue ambrosia ( AV ) mix it up and slap it on and feel the chil.
