Thanked: 0William's upgrade
I haven't gotten around to getting some nicer soap yet, though I have needed to. I read in some posts stating if you use Williams to put some mineral oil or hair conditioner in the mug as you whip up the lather. This morning I decided to put in some lotion and it really improved the shave. Felt luxurious even. When I'm out, I'll probably move on to a Truefitt & Hill hard soap.

Michael,
Good to know it works. I have quite a few kinds of luxurious English soaps and creams; even so, I've recently ordered some Burma Shave soap to experiment and compare with these more expensive products. Based on the recommendations made at the wetshaver's forums, I've just ordered some T & H hard milled soap myself.

I just ordered some T&H and some Dr. Harris shave soaps from Knoxville Cigar based on the reviews on the SMF board. I'll be interested to hear what your results are.
