Greetings mbuemi1577,
You can purchase it from www.qedusa.com. Just click on the "Geo F. Trumper shaving toiletries" link.

hey thanks!
So for lack of a better understanding. The best treatment for a face would look something like this -
Shower - Wash face with a good facial cleanser.
Heat face with warm water or facial towel - from sink
Apply pre shave oil/gel - (im using Taylors Pre Shave Gel)
Lather up with a good Shave cream/Hard Soap - (Taylors Shave Cream)
Shave -
Rinse face with cold water, blot dry
Apply Trumpers Skin Food (does this replace like a balm? and/or require an aftershave lotion? or does this moisturize pretty well?)
Currently I ordered some skin food - but right now I use some Hydrating moisturizer from CVS after i shave and it make my face rather smooth.
anyone else use a different routine? or have some favorite balms/creams?

Greetings mbuemi1577,
My routine, which is a combination of Lynn Abrams' shaving video, Greg Ives video and too many years of DE shaving. I like my shaving cream to be very warm thus the goofy setup. I know there are technical reasons for the hot towels, but the simple fact is it made a noticeable difference for me.
Preheat Shaving Bowl And Bowl That It Sits In. You Can See A Pic Of My Setup Here. Please ignore the DE.
Turn On Electric Kettle
Shower
Preheat Shaving Brush With Water Just Under Boiling Temp For 30 Seconds.
Fill Water Bath Bowl With Boiling Water
Place Shaving Bowl In Water Bath Bowl
Whip Up Shaving Soap Or Cream
Lather Visage
Strop Razor 50 Strokes Each Side On Conditioned Leather
Re-Lather And Place A Towel As Hot As My Hands Can Handle On My Face Over The Lather - Steaming My Face For Two Minutes.
Re-Lather And Steam Face Two More Times.
Wet Face And Lather Once Again.
Shave Face Using Three Passes (With Grain, Across Grain, Against Grain) Reapplying Lather Between Passes.
Apply Shaving Oil And Do A Final Clean Up Pass.
Rinse Face With Cold Water.
Apply After Shave Balm
Apply Very Thin Layer Of Either Skin Food Or Natureade Aloe80 To Lock In AS Balm.
Apply Cologne.
Realize that others reading this will think I've fallen off of the turnip truck. But it works for me - every time – with minimal to zero irritation and smooth as glass results! Total shaving time, not including shower, is approximately 30 minutes.Last edited by Rik; 10-03-2005 at 02:28 AM.

Thanked: 0i ordered some coral skin food from the gentlemensshop.com in hungerford england and got 2 200ml bottles and some cream. at the time free shipping was 75 lbs so i got free shipping. the price per bottle was like $26, which is almost as cheap as some places sell the 100ml bottle which is usually $21.
