    Default floris shave soaps

thanks to the kindness of a fellow member of shavemyface.com, i got a wooden bowl and a soap of floris JF shave soap for $5.99 and the shipping. this set up costs around $25 and the shave soap alone goes for over $10. i dont prefer wooden bowls since the lather runs over the side, but for that price, i can toss it.

well, this soap has a great scent, though i prefer single note scents like rose or violet. however, this is a good masculine scent and is bright and light. the soap is the best. i have posted how i like joris shave soap, made in france, but floris is so much like a cream it is unreal. i have a trumper rose soap and i would rate the floris lather to be better than the trumper.

    Sam,

I picked up this same setup a couple of months ago on ebay. I instantly learned what a quality soap is.I have several soaps that are very good, but the Floris JF is great!

Floris is one of those soaps I'll have to add to the *sigh* collection. My recent score for mondo lather (think Taylor's cream) is in a recent post. I do have the same opinion concerning wooden bowls, though I suppose they are durable enough for most use.
