Thumbs up Found New Source in Mass

Hi guys. I stumbled on a nice source of soaps, creams, aftershaves, and very high-end Badger brushes in Cambridge, Mass, right in Harvard Square!

The Colonial Drug Store (on Brattle Street, I think) carries an AMAZING assortment of all of the above, and have a huge shipment due from England shortly! Prorasso products, Trufitt and Hill, etc....even the Geo. Trumpers stuff is supposed to be making its way there soon.

They have quite a line of Silvertip brushes, various handles, in the $275 - $600 + range! Nice, but not worth the money to me. The brushes from Ray's site at Classic Shaving, or Emily's are as good, and more reasonably priced, in my not-so-humble-opinion!

But as a source for soaps, creams, and aftershaves, I think it is a hidden gem!

    Default Detroit Area - Eastside

I'm still trying to find one in the Detroit area. I live in the upper east side suburbs and have yet to find a spot that sells the top English products other than the E&C store in the local mall. Of course, there, you can only purchase E&C products.

If anyone knows of a place here in Detroit, send me a pm or an e-mail.

    Thanks,

    Jeff

I envy you city dwellers with the good stores. I live in the middle of nowhere, NY so I have to order everything! And then the mail delivery is slooooow. Ah well, that's my gripe for the day

Yeah, Ithica sucks. I used to live 30 miles out of Utica in Remsen. I think I saw a caveman once.

Damn, you really do know the area. Upstate certainly has it's charm, but the winters are brutal.
