I love my tube of sandalwood from SRD. Smells very nice and lathers great I would recommend it anyone. I will be trying some of there other scents.

Don't get me wrong, the soaps and scents were superb, it's just that on every one the lather would collapse and fizz away to nothing before I could even do a single pass. It was such a huge disappointment as I loved all the varieties I tried, and I prefer to try to support the smaller vendors whenever possible.

So I have to stick to Proraso, Trumpers, Tabac etc which seem to work acceptably with our horrible water here.

I hear ya calling my friend, "Ye ole chip a tooth water" comes bubbling up from our well here at the ranch...

I have used Honey Bee Spas with success and I will say the SRD Frankincense and the Ylang Ylang have worked wonderfully even with my water....

My experience has been the harder your water the more heat it takes to get a lather.... Right up until you go too boiling hot, then it all falls apart again...

My water up here might have been the reason for my original search into Uberlather techniques so long ago...
Which BTW the SRD soaps lend themselves to very well, I have been using unscented KMF with both soaps and my normal 5 drops of glycerin for a really creamy slick explosion of lather....
