Thread: Dried out?

I was in the Body Shop the other day, looking at the shaving stuff. I already have a tub of the maca root cream, but I like looking. Anyway, the lady comes up to me and asks me if I have any questions. I explain that I already have the Maca root shaving cream.
She responds by telling me what her boyfriend does. He lets it dry out and then uses it as if it was soap. She said that makes it last longer. I already swirl my brush in the tub to get some cream, but I am curious about this.
I didn't ask what shaving equipment he uses, but I am wondering if this would 'ruin' the cream, maybe not making as good a lather as it would if it just stayed as cream.

Dried out cream can certainly be used, and it can be reconstituted with a little addition of water...but as for doing it intentionally...not sure why!
