Default Are There Any Perpetual Sample Soap Users?

I have tried different soaps from different vendors. My last purchase a mixed sample lot from Kell's. I like most of the soaps that I have tried.

I have been thinking why settle on two or three different soaps, when I could buy a large lot of samples from different vendors or from the same vendor. Each sample lot could last a few months. They do say that variety is the spice of life or something like that. Then I could move on to the next vendor. The nice thing is that they would not take up that much room either. If I did not like something it would only last a short time anyway.

    Has anyone been doing this?

I love the Kells Soap. I have the hemp/aloe blend in Arabian Spice. Smells incredible. I'm looking forward to getting some in Lime for the warmer months.

I have been using Mitchells Wool fat soap lately. Have been thinking of getting some soap samples with some other scents. So, what the heck! I just now ordered some Kells sample soaps.

    Ordered...

1 3-303 Kell's Original Ultra Aloe Blend Shaving Soap - Lime
1 3-803 Kell's Original Ultra Aloe Blend Shaving Soap - Sandalwood
1 3-503 Kell's Original Ultra Aloe Blend Shaving Soap - Arabian Spice
1 3-703 Kell's Original Ultra Aloe Blend Shaving Soap - Casbah Mint
1 3-903 Kell's Original Ultra Aloe Blend Shaving Soap - English Rose
1 3-203 Kell's Original Ultra Aloe Blend Shaving Soap - Juniper Sage

    $1.50 each. $4 shipping...

On another message discussing shaving our wives legs, most of us have been lamenting our wives lack of courage. Me among them. Today, I told her I was going to go hunt up a woman of the street and shave her legs. (Shame. Threats. Ridicule. Something will work!)

Now, the lucky "other woman" will have a choice of scents!

    Default Thanks for the info!

I was planning on ordering some MamaBear's soap this morning, but got sidetracked. I just found this thread, and looked at Kells website. NICE!
I ordered a tin of both Lavender and Arabian Spice in the aloe / hemp blend.

I LOVE trying new soaps, new razors, new aftershaves. I think I have EVERY kind of _AD there is!

    Default P.S.

I didn't mean to stray from the original question! In answer, I guess yes, in a way I am a perpetual soap sampler user ... only I buy the regular sizes ... I have only run into 1 soap I didn't like and that was just the scent, which is a very personel thing ... the soap functioned great, I just didn't care for the smell. I have enough soap to last a LONG time!

I try to get samplers before I buy full size pucks. Some manufacturers don't have samplers so I just order full size from vendors. It's a risk I know and thus far I've only made 1 error in judgment and that was Doc Harris "Naturals" in Almond.

I didn't have lathering problem with Arlington I tried. I've yet to go through Almond, Lavender and Marlborough. Anyway, C.O. Bigelow and Tabac wasn't PITA to lather with. More over Alraz's the Atom Bomb as well as Olivia's creams were magnificent when it comes to lathering.

If more soap manufacturers offered samples they'd get my money. I'm not gonna spend $40+ on bloody MWF because someone says it's greatest thing since sliced bread. Everyone has different scent preferences.

This is why I resorted to soap/cream/AS swapping with a buddy.
