Thread: anyone tried this?

as i was looking for some different soaps i ran across Edwin Jaggers shave soap and was wondering if anyone has tried them and what they think about them, thanks

Hi Dan,

About a month ago I was gifted with a puck of the Muhle Sea Buckthorn soap. This is the same item as the EJ product. I've used the soap about a dozen times so far.

I really like this stuff....a lot. The lather is excellent, with plenty of slip and cushion. Post shave skin care is good. Plus, I love this scent.

I found that a little stiffer brush works best for loading the puck since this seems like a fairly hard soap, but a softer silvertip will do the trick very well also. The puck is on the small side(2.3 ounce), and the price($10-12) is good.

I was surprised at how well this product works for me, and it's now a part of my regular rotation.
