Does it contain any essential oils? there's quite a few out there that do not tolerate them.. I had one of the old english creams for a try, smelled fantastic and it gets great reviews, but for some reason (I'm guessing all the essential oils in there) my face did not appreciate it.. I doubt the honey is causing you problems.

I'm willing to get its the scent. I recently bought some Fitjar Fjellheim scent from Steelforge because his face didn't like it. I haven't had one I have a problem with yet, but some people are just more sensitive.

Yeah, I suspect it was the EO in the soap. I had the same reaction with an experimental TGQ Lemon soap sampler a couple of years back. I also had it happen very mildly with AOS Lavender soap too.

Basically I get mild/medium stinging all over my face and neck, and a whole heap of big red itchy bumps around my neck. If I wash my face several times with soap and water, and apply alum all over, all the reaction stops and my face returns to normal.

It's a shame as these soaps work great for most people.

    I'm not complaining

They would make a killing though if they could develop the scents with a formula for sensitive skin.

I had a few Honeybee soaps and the FO made my skin red, itchy and burned the hell out of my face. She ended up making me a few soaps with less FO which helped but I ended up giving them away.
