Thanked: 3TI soaps anyone?
I've been looking around for reviews or ppl who have tried the TI shaving soaps, so far apparently no one has tried it.
So I was curious to ask if anyone here has ever tried these soaps, and if you did I'd like your opinion on them

Thanked: 2Where do you get TI shaving soap?
I guess I should be using that brand of soap being that is the brand of razor I currently own . I have no doubt that their products are top of the line.
I'm currently using some Burma Shave soap I got at one of my local drugstores. It's even better than all the aerosol can crap I've ever used. I'm new to the game so I'm starting out with the cheap stuff until I get to know which is worth buying and paying the big bucks for.
Where do you get these TI soaps at?

I've always been a fan of the French made, milled soaps; I tend to like French soaps more tham the others, and my top 5 soaps are all French. I've tried the TI soaps, and they are good for what they are, but I don't like them as much as many of the other French brands. TI soaps are glycerine based, and so are more comparable to the likes of QED (which is no bad thing), as opposed to the more highly regarded French milled soaps like L'Occitane and Provence Sante. If you do end up buying them, I wouldn't think you'd be disappointed by them, but I would venture to say they are slightly overpriced for what they are, particularly when the likes of Provence Sante are better and certainly no more expensive.
Kindest regards,
Alex

Thanked: 3kewl thanks for the replies,
In europe you can get em from rasurpur, ordered their a couple of times (razor & brush), I gotta say the service their is superb.
Very polite and friendly, very good quality and quick order processing, the razor was very well honed
I also like the french made products tbh.
Always been a fan of l'occitane in particular, I'm currently using their cade shaving soap, excellent stuff; it's the first shaving soap I've ever used. I like the scents of l'occitane products in general, damn they got some good smell.Last edited by joshDHM; 11-25-2009 at 07:19 PM.

I've always been a fan of the CADE scent myself, I've tried a lot of other Juniper scented soaps, but I've always found them to be a big disappointment when compared to CADE. I've always thought it was a shame that L'occitane's other men's fragrances aren't available in shaving soap form.
Kindest regards,
Alex

If you look at the review of Portland General Store Whiskey soap I did last week, you will see a comment I made at the end that TI Sandalwood is my favourite soap to date. The scent is awesome. I get mine from the Invisible Edge.
Ive never tried a tallow based soap, but am very fond of all the glycerine soaps and creams ive tried. I think Ill stay away from tallow as i dont wana put rendered beef fat on my skin.

I have never tried the TI soaps. Have used Institut Kerite and it is a great soap.
