I can't think of anything Swedish either, but your neighbors to the West make some great stuff. Fitjar soaps if you are interested in looking. They have an international webstore and an expanded product list on the Norwegian website. So if you can work your way around Norwegian, you should have no problem finding the good stuff. Alternately, the woman who runs it speaks great English.

As far as the US, all I ever see are Williams and Van der Hagen.

No problem. I highly recommend the Fjellheim scent. It is a very manly fresh cut fir tree scent that I absolutely love. I have heard good things about them all though. Looking to try the glacier (fogelfonn? can't remember exactly) one next.

EDIT: It's Folgefonn. I was close. Haven't had a chance to learn Swedish or Norwegian yet, but they are on the to do list.

    Hi, Ether,
I shaved today with La Toja.No better result for your money. In Spain it costs about 2.3USD and provides a great result. Maybe a bit drying skin effect. Solve it hydrating with after shave.
    Let me know.

I can't fully agree with my Brazilian compatriot, well since we don't live in same city and Brazil is a very large country, regional markets are different.

Canned foam and blue goo Gillette is the 1st for sure.

But for Shaving cream Bozzano (brazilian brand) is the top choice, and my choice.

    link for it.

And forgot to say, we got Shaving soaps of well known brand in Brazil, Granado Phamacos. here my friend, you can order on-line

I just got my first tube of La Toja in the mail from Bruno today - I'm excited to give it a go. I'll put a comment up on the SOD late tonight.

So true, unfortunately. Vergulde Hand may be the only shaving soap made in this country (apart from a few small artisanal producers). It happens to be the world's oldest still existing registered brand name and though many seem to differ - low retail price and cheap plastic packaging don't help there - I think it is actually very good.
