    Default TOBS Containers

I really like the TOBS creams but am not sure about the containers. What I mean is that they're no MWF, are they? Since I only use one cream/soap until I've finished it I'd prefer a more - well, less plastic container.

Has anyone come up with a solution to this, or are you happy with the plastic container?

    Thanks,

    Rob
I love the smell of shaving cream in the morning!

The Plastic tubs are fine with me. Penhaligon's creams come in very heavy glass jars, but they cost a ton. (also Crabtree and evelyn sweet almond oil cream used to come in glass jars, but long discontinued).

Maybe if your SWMBO uses any cosmetics that come in a glass jar you could repurpose it after she empties it.

I just use the plastic container. I put some cream on a brush and make the lather on my face with a brush. While it is indeed just a plastic container, the 5 seconds I need it don't warrant the money and inconvenience of putting it in a nicer container.

Reasonably happy. It is sturdy enough to survive a fall from approx 1.5m - what more can you ask for? Glass would be nice, but I have dropped more than one jar in my time, so glass is a non starter. The colours could be a little less garish, though.

    BeB,

The William Marvy Co. here in St. Paul, Minnesota (the last manufacturer of barber poles in the US) sells rubber mugs for shaving soap. One can pitch them across the room to be met only with gales of laughter from the unhurt container. The Marvy Co. also sells plastic mugs, but they aren't nearly as much fun to throw around.
