    A cheese grater is the great equalizer. It will make any puck fit in any container just like factory. Simply grate the soap, compress the shavings into the desired container and load brushes as normal. Works like a champ every time.

    I didn't read this until after, but I grated Williams into a tub, then used a touch of water to aid in the pressing. Is my soap ruined? I guess I was lucky to do this with a 1 dollar bar.
    I waited overnight, then half the next day. Nothing bad happened in lathering.
    What happens when adding additional water? Does it not evaporate?

    Not ruined.
