I tried the SMN pre-shave and shave creams. All I can say is that they are FANTASTIC!!! The best cushion for a shave I have ever experienced, this cream is an immediate new favorite for me. (with CF lavender and T&H ultimate as runners up)

I will try the 1903 tomorrow. It has a "woodsy" fragrance and according to the package is made in USA.

I have heard of Santa Maria Novella, as I use the emulsione analcolica as an after shave balm as well as their soaps. All of their products are wonderful, although pricey.

Has anyone heard of the 1903 Concentrated Shaving Cream? Has anyone tried it.
