Thanked: 96Pharmacy. It's sold as enema solution mostly. Yes, I got some looks during the trip in which I found this out.
Google shopper finds several sources as well.
Glycerin 100% Natural 4 oz Pure - eBay (item 400033165305 end time Jan-19-10 07:30:36 PST)
That's a pretty cheap one from the first page.

Thanked: 10I'd probably make sure it was glycerin USP to ensure purity. Just go to the pharmacy up the street.

Glycerin
At CVS..in the cosmetic section, the ladies use it to take off make-up before going to bed. When using to build lather, no more than five drops since too much liquifies the mix.

just got mine yesterday as a matter of fact, rite aid . just load up a damp brush with mitchells wool fat puck soap then put an almond size of tebac cream into a mug and then add 10 drops of glycerin, then add some dropplets of water and stir, maybe add a few more dropplets and stir and you will have a lather that looks like cool whip!!!! its great.

Thanked: 20I found mine in the first aide section of the pharmacy. You can also get it at craft stores in the soap making section.
