Thanked: 0the body shop, shaving cream (england)
I have bought some shaving cream and it is drying on my face very fast, I'v only used soap until now and its been ok. The cream is from the body shop, I just wanted to ask if it is the cream or am I doing somthing wrong?
Another question where can I go and buy some different saops and creams in england? the soap I was using is just wilkinson from wilko's.

The Body Shop cream is a very good performer in my experience. If it's drying on your face then I'd guess you're not getting the water to cream ratio right.
Check out Mantic's video on building a good lather:
If you want to try other soaps and creams then you will usually find Palmolive creams and shave sticks in most supermarkets at pretty cheap prices. At the moment you can also find the Real Shaving Company products in Poundland discount stores and if you're really lucky they will have the Limited Edition 175ml tubs in stock. The Limited Edition is the old Body Shop formula and is another very good performer.
You don't say where in England you are, but we have some of the best shaving soaps and creams in the world right here in the UK and many of them have their flagship stores around the Jermyn Street area in London.

Even if you're out in the sticks, you can still order anything online. Edwin Jagger make some good creams, & there's also Castle Forbes. These are just my current favourites. There are plenty more. As Danny say's, Palmolive is readily available. It's pretty outstanding for the price! The Body Shop cream isn't bad though, so it is worth trying a few different things till you get the lather right.

The body shop cream is made by creighton's, the same company that makes Truefitt and Hill, DR Harris, and (I believe) Trumper's, not to mention The Real Shaving Company. They are all VERY similar in use (well, I haven't tried Trumper's...) and differ mostly in Scent. So TBS cream is a premium product, just keep working at it.

You could always take advantage of the January sales. Places like the Gentlemen's Shop, Mankind, Traditional Shaving Company, Brummells of London and Niven & Joshua are all great online stores.
The most commonly known shop for quality shaving supplies is John Lewis, in my opinion. There's also Boots and Asda or Tesco for the lower-end products.
Failing all of the above, there's always the classifieds sections of SRP.

In addition to the above mentioned, Taylor of Old Bond Street { TOBS}, makes a very good, wide range of creams, soaps, after shaves, and Cologne. Like mentioned above, some of the best creams, and shaving products come from London England. Good luck.

True, but the original poster is based in Staffordshire which is hundreds of miles away from London
