Thanked: 48switerland bombed
the bomb was sent by al so after reading a bit on als bomb i pulled the trigger and got two, sage and almond plus he ´kindly provided to samples ceder and bergamont and a sample of his new aftershave.
now i had read that this is a hard cream to lather and after whipping up maybe 10 batches i would have to concur. not that it cant be done but it takes a bit of fussing to get it right. once there thou look out, this stuff rocks . it is with out a doubt the thickest, slickest die hard lather i have ever used. and the shave, OMG. i got a effortless bbs shave that lasted 12 hours from a razor ( henkels) that had only delivered so so shaves in the past. now i dont know why that shave would last so much longer but i think this bombs real trick is to get your beard to stand up stiff even swell the hair a bit so that when things get back to normal the hair is under the skin . really i have never had a nicer shave. now to the scent that has become my favorite, sage. this is real sage takes me back to my youth in the high desert of eastern calif. i know this is a personal thing but nothing has ever been so right for me. just love the stuff. i asked al if there couldnt be a after shave in sage . i need it, must have it.and to my relief he said he could / would do it.so the question is , is it worth it? cost vs effort and result ....are you kidding? for the extra few mins effort the result is allmost magic the cost?you use so little its going to take forever to work my thru this jar.if you have gone thru the trouble to learn to use a straight razor its time to reward yourself . get the bomb. this is a 10
