    Default TOBS...

Hey everyone, I ordered some TOBS from a reputable online vendor, items arrive intact, and on time. However, upon closer inspection of the TOBS Lavender, (I had ordered Rose as well) it looked like quite a bit was missing, I read of during hot temperatures, the cream separates and such, however, its been cold lately, and upon further reading, on this forum and another online vendor, (who states that TOBS may have issues, due to it being filled by weight) I realized mine may be missing quite a bit. The Rose looks reasonable, but the Lavender looks like as if a quarter was scooped out. Not saying it has been, but curious as to other peoples experience, I have attached a picture for review, I contacted the vendor and they advised that TOBS tends to be like that, and others had similar issues. So my question is, how many of you have had these experiences? Thanks guys.

I'd say that looks about normal. I've received a variety of
different volumes and consistencies from TOBS, but they
have always smelled great and give a perfectly good shave.

I haven't bought TOBS, but I have bought other creams in a tub like that. It seems the thicker the consistency, the easier it is for it to take a form that looks like there's less than it ought to be. If you're in doubt, weigh it. Looks like you bought 2 so the weight should be the same.

Yea, it seems others have too, I used the rose so far, and it was great, and followed at the end with the GFT Coral Skin Food, got a great shave.

The Lavender's consistency did seem different than the Rose, which was more fluffy. As far as weighing it, I don't have a scale for light items, or else I would, I did try weighing em by just pure feel of it, and judged it upon that, don't know for sure, but the Lavender did seem a bit lighter.

I've got four tubs of TOBS and one of mine looked like that. They're all a slightly different consitency too, but they all lather well and TOBS is my benchmark for shaving creams due to the resonable price point.
